Things have gotten so…crazy with these youtuber accusations that it’s become so hard to tell what’s real and who’s telling the truth and I just don’t know what to believe. I don’t ever ever want to disregard assault someone has experienced and not treat it with the importance it should be handled with.
But at the same time I don’t think it’s unreasonable to struggle with believing the notion that Tyler Oakley has been pretending to be gay to cover up the awful things he does to young girls.
If people are lying about these things then I quite frankly find that almost if not as disgusting as the people who are actually abusers. Because what a lie like that does is not only mess up the life of the person who’s accused, but it affects the life of the next victim who honestly has to courage to come forward and attempt to speak about their abuse and is shut down, ignored and/or called a liar because of someone before them that has been spreading lies.
To be clear I’m not saying anybody is lying because I have no way of knowing that they are and I do not want to pass judgment on somebody when they are really a victim.
However, if there are people lying, it needs to stop. This isn’t a game. This is life. And it’s serious.
but why do famous people get things for free if they’re the ones that can afford it
i wish i was a cute youtuber but im boring and bad at everything
THINGS I LIKE
- when people use my name in conversation
- when people say “this reminded me of you!”
- when people remember little things i say/do
- when people genuinely thank me for things i’ve done for them
- when i think of the same thing at the same time as someone else and you give each other the look
“You’ll never amount to anything in your entire life because you’re not me.” Kanye says as he tucks in his children. “Sweet dreams. Because that’s all they’ll ever be when you’re not Kanye West.”
